Facial & Lip fillers
Face
Dermal Fillers can be used to redefine the face by filling out lines, reducing sagging and replacing lost volume.
Fillers are administered into the desired area using a pre-prepared needle and syringe. The volume and type of filler used in the face will depend on the area to be treated and how much filler is required. For example the repair of facial sagging may require more product than basic wrinkle repair as the treatment area is usually larger. By the same rule, deeper wrinkles may require more product than shallow wrinkles.
Lips
Fillers can be used in the lip to redefine the lipline itself, plump up the body of the lip. even up an uneven lipline or replace lost lip volume caused by ageing. We only use fillers especially designed for the lip which ensures a beautiful and natural look and not the very undesirable 'duck' effect some others leave.
This type of filler is also good for very fine smokers lines as it reduces the visibility of the lines without overfilling the area between nose and mouth.
Smokers Lines and Decollete'
For the deeper lines around the mouth which smoking causes and the damage caused by sun to the decollete' area we can use a combination of Dermaroller and a special filler which minimises the wrinkles in these difficult areas leaving a very natural effect.
All our fillers are done with the addition of local anaesthetic which minimises any discomfort during the procedure. Duration of the procedure depends on the area(s) being treated.
Results can be seen immediately and any swelling usually subsides within 48 hours. Bruising is rare with these types of fillers.
Your result can last up to 6 months depending on how you metabolise (break down) the product. In some cases the filler may last up to 9 months or even more. It should be remembered that external factors such as smoking, dehydration and sun exposure can reduce the longevity of your treatment.
